CEBU, Philippines - A provincial capitol employee lost her valuables after an unidentified man broke into her car while it is being parked at the Cebu Business Park Thursday evening.

Lia Pangatunggan, 30, lost her Secossana brand bag containing her wallet, SSS ID, PRC ID, company ID, credit card, driver’s license and other documents in it. The CDI of her Toyota Corolla XL 2001 car was also missing.

The victim told police that she parked her car at Cebu Business Park where she had an engagement. But when she returned to her car moments later, she was surprised when she discovered the right rear quarter window of her car already smashed.

She added the perpetrator also opened the hood of her car and detached its CDI from the engine and fled.

PO3 Celso Seville said that the police who investigated the case can’t get fingerprints on the vehicle because there were already people who touched it after the incident.
