Globe network goes down

CEBU, Philippines - Globe Telecom experienced a service interruption covering several areas in the Visayas and Mindanao yesterday due to a “fiber cut”.

Yoly Crisanto, Globe Telecom head for corporate communications in a press statement sent to The FREEMAN said that as a result, subscribers may experience difficulty in sending text messages, making calls or using mobile internet in these areas.

Globe assures its subscribers that service restoration is ongoing and that subscribers will be informed as soon as services are back to normal. (FREEMAN)
