Worker gets 3rd degree burns

CEBU, Philippines - A construction worker sustained third degree burns when a steel bar he was pulling from the first floor of a three-story house he was working in got in contact with a high tension wire yesterday morning.

His clothes in shreds, Nelson Remedios, 37, of barangay Banawa, Cebu City was taken to Don Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center for treatment. — THE FREEMAN
