Literacy training center inaugurated in Tungkop
CEBU, Philippines – The Computer Literacy Training Center in barangay Tungkop in Minglanilla town was formally inaugurated.
A project of barangay Tungkop captain Olga V. Fiel, the Computer Literacy Training Center is sponsored by the Ginebra San Miguel Corporation through the effort of Gerard C. Luague, the regional manager for Eastern Visayas.
Luague, a native of barangay Minglanilla had made representations with top officials of the company after barangay captain Fiel asked for his assistance.
Luague said the top officials of the company approved the request of Fiel because it is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of the company.
He said Ginebra San Miguel supports Fiel's program which provide support to the out-of-school youth through Information Technology. (FREEMAN)
