Sitoy starts projects for disabled persons

CEBU, Philippines - The office of Cebu sixth district Provincial Board Member Arleigh Sitoy has started programs that provide livelihood projects to residents especially those with disabilities.

Last week, the first livelihood program focuses on flower arrangement and candle making.

Sitoy said the program would help residents prepare for All Saints Day and All Saints Day.

Sheila Ruiz of Lushblooms, proprietor and considered one of the leading florists in Cebu, is in charge of the training.

She is active in wedding preparations, debuts, special parties, and many others.

Sitoy said this program is just one of a series of livelihood projects for persons with disabilities.

He has promised to introduce more projects for this year.

Meanwhile, the 1st PWD Run, Walk 'n Roll will be held on November 7 at 6 a.m. at the Capitol Grounds.
