Motorcycle hits septuagenarian in Toledo

CEBU, Philippines – A 75-year-old woman died after she was hit by a motorcycle while she was crossing the national highway at Barangay Calongcalong, Toledo City.

Beatris Buhat Mahilum, married and a resident of the barangay, was bumped by a motorcycle driven by a certain Bolodo Nilo Pahulaya J., 22.

Pahulaya is from Sesame St. Guizo, Mandaue City.

Records from the Toledo City Police Station revealed that Pahulaya was driving a Honda XRM with plate number 2457-KH owned by R Express Lending House Corporation on his way to Balamban, Cebu, when he hit Mahilum, who was crossing the road.

Mahilum fell on the concrete surface of the road while the motorcycle crashed.

She was taken to the hospital but she died on the way. (FREEMAN)
