Dealer shoots alleged shabu buyer

CEBU, Philippines – An alleged drug pusher shot and wounded another man in an alleged illegal drug transaction gone sour yesterday afternoon at sitio Masulog, barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City.

SPO2 Rolito Jumao-as of Lapu-Lapu Ciy Police Office Homicide Section said Junrey Cacha, 30, a resident of sitio Buyong, barangay Maribago, Lapu-Lapu City shot William Jasmin, married, and residing at sitio Suba Masulog barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City

Cacha had sold shabu to Jasmin but Jasmin did not allegedly pay Cacha the right amount.

Jasmin was taken to Mactan Doctors' Hospital and Cacha was arrested. The police found an empty shell of .45 caliber pistol at the crime scene. A case for illegal possession of firearms has been filed against Cacha.

Cacha said he had been involved in other criminal cases and even mentioned the nicknames of people he had killed.
