Teenagers stab another who called them peeping toms

CEBU, Philippines – A teenager was stabbed to death by four youngsters, two of whom he earlier confronted for peeping at him and his girlfriend while they were dating in Barangay Ca-tarman, Liloan at dawn yesterday.

Aldin Byasa, 19, died on the spot due to several wounds on his body.

Investigation showed that the victim was dating with his girlfriend, a certain "Krisa", in a vacant lot of the barangay at around 1 a.m. when Krisa spotted two young men who were bringing flashlights.

Krisa immediately informed her boyfriend about the presence of the two.

Byasa, who thought the two were spying on him and his girlfriend, confronted them. The two claimed they were merely looking for spiders.

They engaged in a heated argument before the two left. The two later came back with two other men.

One of the four was reportedly heard telling Byasa, "Unsa'y gusto nimo, pinatyanay?" They then attacked the victim.

Byasa slumped on the ground and died from the many wounds he sustained.

The assailants fled immediately.

The police are now trying to identify the assailants. (FREEMAN)
