Mandaue grants anniversary bonus to temps, regular workers

CEBU, Philippines – The Mandaue City council has approved a proposed resolution which grants an anniversary bonus to all job order and regular employees who have been on the job for not less than five years.

Mandaue City Councilor Beethoven Andaya, chairman of the committee on finance authored the resolution.

The city council agreed to grant P3,000 as bonus to each job order employees who have been working for the city for five years and regular employees will get P5,000 if they have rendered five years or more.

Andaya said granting anniversary bonus is significant because the city government is celebrating its 41st Charter Day anniversary.

Andaya the gesture will certainly cheer up city hall employees. (FREEMAN)
