CEBU, Philippines – Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) inmates took part in the celebration of the 441st founding anniversary of the Province of Cebu.

Thirty-seven selected inmates, chosen based on their dancing abilities, performed at the quadrangle of Cebu Provincial Capitol.

Vince P. Rosales, CPDRC dancing inmates' choreographer, said the whole performance lasted for nine minutes. They performed three dances from Michael Jackson.

Around 500 people gathered in front of the Capitol building to witness the presentation. Members of the audience were excited to see the moves of the inmates, which are all featured at the popular internet site YouTube.

Cebu Gov. Gwendolyn Garcia shook the hands of each inmate to personally congratulate them for the good show.

The public is also given an opportunity to watch the inmates dance once a month as the CPDRC gates are made open for the show.
