Man shot dead in Tanke, Talisay

CEBU, Philippines – A 29-year-old man died after being shot several times last Wednesday dawn at a depressed area of barangay Tanke, Talisay City.

The police said Jerome Villoria, single, of sitio Proper, barangay San Roque sustained gunshots to the forehead, right leg, stomach, and right shoulder.

Police said Villoria was walking along sitio Tunga, barangay Tanke at past 2 a.m. that day when out of nowhere a man appeared and sprayed his body with bullets.

He was taken to the Talisay District Hospital but may have died on the way.

Found in the crime scene were four empty shells of a .45 caliber pistol. The police are yet to determine the motive for the killing. (THE FREEMAN)
