2 men fall in drug bust

CEBU, Philippines - Two alleged drug pushers were arrested last Friday night in Sitio Micabaja, Barangay Duljo Fatima, Cebu City in a buy bust operation conducted by the Cebu City Public Safety Company (CCPSC).

Myko Bonghanoy Cuizon, 19, and Russelier Dacullo Diabelos, 22, both residents of the area were arrested after they were caught in the act of selling shabu to a poseur buyer at around 11:15 p.m.

After receiving information on the alleged illegal activities of the suspects, a team of policemen led by SPO1 Necito dela Victoria Jr. immediately conducted a buy bust operation to arrest them.

PO1 Sonny Tejano, one of the arresting police officers, told The FREEMAN that they have been monitoring the place for alleged rampant selling of illegal drugs.

After they have confirmed that the two suspects are indeed engaged in the illegal drug trade, Tejano added they conducted the buy bust operation using another man who posed as customer wanting to buy P200 worth of shabu.  

Police officers immediately pounced on Cuizon and Diabelos after they were seen handing over four small plastic sachets of believed to be shabu to the poseur buyer.

In an interview, Diabelos admitted to The FREEMAN his involvement in the illegal drug trade. “Wa gyud ko magtuo nga mga pulis diay to among gibaligyaan,” he said.

According to him, they have two other companions who are also engaged in the same activity. He however refused to name their leader and where they are getting their “supply.” (THE FREEMAN)
