Motorcycle accident injures principal

CEBU, Philippines - A principal of an elementary school lost control of his motorcycle and fell off a ravine in Sitio Bihang, Barangay Bongoyan, in Borbon Cebu last Monday afternoon.

Joselito Sumayang Presbitero, 40, principal of Saling-it Elementary School, was driving his Yamaha Crypton motorcycle bearing plate number GZ 6199 and on his way home to Barangay Bongdo Gua when the accident happened.

Investigation disclosed that the principal came from the celebration of Nutrition Month at the Borbon Municipal Plaza. Upon reaching a curved portion of the provincial road of Sitio Bihang, Presbitero lost control of his motorcycle.

 He then fell down a deep ravine, which police estimated to be about two meters deep.

Presbitero sustained injuries and was immediately brought to the Juan Diosdado Hospital in Sogod but was transferred to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC).   (FREEMAN NEWS)
