CEBU, Philippines - An 18-year-old man was arrested for selling the illegal drug “shabu” inside his house in sitio Asinan, barangay Mantuyong, Mandaue City last Thursday afternoon.
Police detained Archie Palad at the Mandaue City Police Station 1 after seizing shabu from his possession and P600.
Police said Palad attempted to escape by jumping out of the window but the police had surrounded his house.
He will be charged with illegal possession of illegal drugs.
The police are keeping an eye on barangay Mantuyong because of the rampant selling of illegal drugs in the area.
This is the third buy bust operation conducted by the police operatives in three weeks.
Two weeks ago a certain Richard Montebon was arrested for selling illegal drugs.
Days after, another two men were also arrested for the same offense. – THE FREEMAN
