Court orders arrest of Pakistanis who allegedly molested minor
MANILA, Philippines - The Regional Trial Court has ordered the arrest of two Pakistanis accused of allegedly molesting a minor after the suspects failed to attend their arraignment yesterday.
Atty. Ferdinand Dungog, lawyer of Ahmael Ullah, 19, and Mohammad Nabi Gul, 31, yesterday told RTC Branch 6 Judge Ester Veloso that he could no longer contact his clients.
The two accused were required to show up in all proceedings of the case after posting bail of P200,000 each.
In their counter-affidavit submitted last month, Ullah and Nabi denied the allegations that they took turns in raping their 16-year old house help last March 1.
Ullah himself said he did not force the minor to have sex with him, as they reportedly had a relationship. He said he met the girl last February and they eventually became lovers. The supposed victim even reportedly introduced him as her boyfriend to her parents.
He said they offered the girl a job when they learned that she was looking for one.
Ullah also said his cousin Gul could not have raped the supposed victim since he was with her the whole time and there was no chance that his cousin could get near her alone.
