Alleged snatcher shot at Pier 3

CEBU, Philippines - An alleged snatcher landed at the hospital after he shot by an unidentified man at Pier 3, Arellano Boulevard, Barangay Tinago, Cebu City at 3 a.m. yesterday.

Cleopas Bueno, 19 years old, single, who sells otap in the pier area, is now in critical condition at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

Initial investigation done by the Cebu City Police Office revealed that the victim was sleeping on the top of a cart on the roadside when the suspect, armed with an unidentified caliber of firearm, shot him without any apparent reason.

The suspect, after hitting the victim to the head, immediately fled from the scene.

Police said that people in the area said personal grudges could be one of the possible reasons that lead to the crime.
