Drug suspect arrested

CEBU, Philippines - Police arrested a drug pusher in the act of selling shabu to a poseur buyer yesterday morning at sitio La Purisima in barangay Guizo, Mandaue City.

Lloyd Ybañez, 30, single, and a resident of barangay Tugbungan, Consolacion town was arrested by operatives of the Opao police station led by station chief P/Sr. Insp. Alfredo Ortiz as he handed a pack of shabu to a police decoy in exchange of P200.

Another pack of shabu was seized from him after he was frisked.

Ortiz said Ybañez told him that he now operates in Mandaue City because he had very few customers in Consolacion town.

Ybañez also told Ortiz that he gets his supply of shabu from a cousin who lives in barangay Mantuyong.

Ortiz said Ybañez has divulged the name of his supplier but he was out of his house when the police arrived.
