Capitol gives P3 million to Dalaguete

CEBU, Philippines - Barangay captains as well as the municipal government of Dalaguete yesterday received financial assistance worth P3 million from the Cebu provincial government for the implementation of priority projects.

Governor Gwendolyn Garcia handed a check amounting to P450,000 to Dalaguete Mayor Andrade Alcantara for the town’s water system project and for its participation to the “Pasigarbo sa Sugbo” festival of festivals.

Assistance which was sourced from her office and from the offices of Provincial Board members Wilfredo Caminero and Peter John Calderon were also handed to barangay captains who requested funding for water systems project, construction of health centers and footbridges, road maintenance, and electrification projects. – Jose P.
