Mandaue Chamber to get P3 million in aid from Provincial Board

The Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry will receive P3 million in financial assistance from the Provincial Board for their different activities.

Sixth district Provincial Board member Wenceslao Gakit, chairman of the Committee on Finance and Appropriation, introduced the appropriation ordinance.

Gakit said Governor Gwendolyn Garcia promised to assist MCCI in its activities.

MCCI under the leadership of Eric Mendoza has spearheaded different projects that promote small and medium enterprises.

A Memorandum of Agreement was entered into by Governor Garcia and the Chamber through Mendoza. PB member Victor Maambong supported Gakit in endorsing the approval of the financial assistance of P3 million. — Jose P. Sollano/BRP
