Talamban pusher charged

-

CEBU, Philippines - A woman has been charged before the Regional Trial Court yesterday after she was arrested for alleged sale of illegal drugs to policemen last November 25.

Jacqueline Parohinog reportedly sold illegal drugs to policewoman Jennifer Velasco in a buy-bust operation.

Velasco in her sworn affidavit said that Parohinog is the subject of the operation after receiving reports on the proliferation of illegal drugs trade in barangay Talamban.

Velasco said that together with her team of police officers, they proceeded to sitio Ylaya in Talamban.   When they reached Parohinog’s house, Velasco said she posed to buy shabu from the suspect using marked money.

Confiscated from the suspect were two packets of shabu weighing 0.4 grams.   Parohinog is now facing charges for illegal possession and sale of illegal drugs. No bail was recommended. — Jasmin R. Uy/MEEV (THE FREEMAN)
