Christ the King Sunday Rerouting begins at 4 p.m.
CEBU, Philippines - A vehicular traffic rerouting scheme will be implemented on Cebu City streets tomorrow starting 4 p.m. in line with the celebration of the Feast of Christ the King.
The Traffic Patrol Group and the City Traffic Operations Management made this announcement to inform the riding public that the right lane of Osmeña Boulevard from R. R. Landon Street going to P. Burgos St. and a portion of P. Burgos St., from Urdaneta St. up to Magallanes St., will be closed.
Public utility jeepneys coming from Guadalupe/Banawa/Capitol/Lahug/Apas plying on Osmeña Blvd., are to make a left turn to R.R. Landon St., right turn to Junquera St., right turn to Colon St., right turn to Osmeña Blvd., to their usual route, then to their point of destination. PUJs coming from Lahug/Apas traversing along F. Ramos St. must go straight to Junquera St., then take a left turn to Colon St., right turn to Mabini St., right turn to D. Jakosalem St., to their usual route, then to their point of origin.
PUJs coming from Talamban/Pit-os with Route Nos. 13B, 62B, 62C and 65B, while traversing at V. Gullas St. shall make a right turn on Legaspi St., right turn to Colon St., left turn to D. Jakosalem St., to their usual route, then to their point of origin. While Route No. 13C while traversing along Colon St. shall turn right to D. Jakosalem St., right turn to Imus St., back to their usual route, then to their point of origin.
PUJs coming from Urgello with Route Nos. 01A, 01B, 01C, 01F, 01G, 01I, and 01K while traversing along J. Alcantara St. and then Leon Kilat St., must make a left turn to Magallanes St., right turn to D. Jakosalem St., left turn to M.C. Briones St., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave. then to their point of destination, except for 01A that will turn left to Borromeo St., proceed to Leon Kilat St., then to their point of origin.
As for PUJs from Basak with Route Nos. 09C, 09E, 09F, and 09K, from Pardo/Bulacao with Route Nos. 10C, 10E, 10F, 10H, 10O and from Labangon with Route Nos. 12B, 12D, 12E, 12J, 12M, while traversing at N. Bacalso Ave. shall make a right turn at Leon Kilat St., right turn to Magallanes St., right turn to Tres de Abril St., left turn to C. Padilla St. and back to its original route, then to their point of origin, except for PUJs with Route Nos. 10H, 12E and 12J that will turn left to Magallanes St., right turn to D. Jakosalem St., left turn to M.C. Briones St., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave., then to their point of destination.
PUJs with Route No. 02B, Route No. 08F from Alumnos (Mambaling), from Basak with Route Nos. 09A, 09G, 09H, 09J; from Bulacao/Pardo with Route Nos. 10D, 10J, 10M; from Inayawan with Route No. 11D; and Labangon with Route Nos. 12C, 12F, 12G, 12I while traversing at Colon St., shall make a right turn at P. Lopez St., right turn to Magallanes St., right turn to Tres de Abril St., left turn to C. Padilla St., and back to its original route, then to their point of origin. Except for PUJs with Route Nos. 02B, 08F, 09J, 10J, 10M, 12G, and 12I which shall take a left turn to Magallanes St., right turn to D, Jakosalem St., left turn to M.C. Briones St., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave., then to their point of destination.
PUJs coming from Mabolo with Route Nos. 03A, 03G and 03L while traversing at V. Gullas St. shall make a right turn to D. Jakosalem St., right turn to Colon St., left turn to Mabini St., right turn to Zulueta St., left turn to M.J. Cuenco Ave. and back to its original route; while PUJs coming from Mandaue City with Route Nos. 21B and 22B, and from Mabolo with Route No. 03B while traversing along Osmeña Blvd. shall turn left to R.R. Landon St., right turn to Junquera St., left turn to P. del Rosario St., to Imus St., right turn to Sikatuna St., left turn to T. Padilla St., to their usual route, then to their point of origin.
PUJs coming from the North Reclamation Area/SM City, and North Bus Terminal while traversing along M.J. Cuenco Ave. shall go straight, then turn right to Magallanes St., left turn to P. Burgos St., right turn to M.C. Briones St., right turn to D. Jakosalem St., left turn to Magallanes St., to their usual route, then to their point of origin.
Motorists, drivers and other road users are advised to follow the traffic signs installed on areas affected by the rerouting.
