Man found dead in Pinamungajan

CEBU, Philippines - A 35-year-old man was found dead in a grassy area in barangay Tajao, Pinamungajan town last Friday morning.

The fatality was identified as Martin Delfin Quijo, a resident of the said place. His body was found by another man who was passing by the area.

Initial investigation revealed that Quijo sustained an injury on the head, which is believed to have led to his death. Authorities also suspect that he was robbed before getting killed because his personal belongings were already gone.

Pinamungajan police said they have already established a lead to the perpetrator. They, however, refused to name the suspect pending investigation. – Gabriel C. Bonjoc/JMO (THE FREEMAN)
