CEBU, Philippines – Around 20 inmates of the Liloan Police Station will be moved to police stations in the neighboring town and city for renovation works scheduled next week.
Senior Supt. Erson Digal, officer-in-charge of the Cebu Provincial Police Office, said that around 20 inmates in Liloan will be moved probably to the Compostela Police Station and Danao City Police Station.
Digal said that the police stations in Compostela and Danao have enough space to accommodate the inmates unlike the other neighboring towns of Liloan.
He also said that after the municipality approved the budget, the two-storey building of the Liloan Police Station will undergo a six-month renovation which will be started next week.
