Man hangs self

CEBU, Philippines – A 33-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling of his house at 3 p.m. last Thursday in barangay Daan Tabugon, town of Sogod.

Police identified the fatality as Rodito Comedido, married, jobless and resident of the said place.

Investigators said Comedido tied a wire around and hanged himself from the ceiling of his house that led to his death. His body was found by a certain Gea Candores.

The victim’s family was allegedly not around when he committed suicide, which police believed might have been triggered by some personal problems.

Comedido’s body was taken to Damulog District Hospital in Sogod where an autopsy on the body would be conducted. — Niña G. Sumacot/WAB (THE FREEMAN)
