Man hacked in Argao town

CEBU, Philippines – A 45-year-old man was hacked by an unidentified assailant inside his house in sitio Malinglangon, barangay Canbangwa, Argao town, last Monday evening.

PO1 Benjamin Geyrosaga, investigator of the said crime said Jose Romaguera and his nephew were drinking during the fiesta celebration in their place.

The two had an argument and the nephew of the victim decided to go home and sleep to avoid any trouble.

As the victim was asleep the unidentified assailant entered his house and hacked him in the face before fleeing.

The victim was rushed to the hospital and is now in critical condition. – Christopher Gabriel C. Bonjoc/BRP (THE FREEMAN)
