CEBU, Philippines - President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo yesterday designated Press Secretary Cerge Remonde as acting Executive Secretary while Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita is in Geneva, Switzerland on official mission from April 25 to May 1.
In a memorandum issued yesterday afternoon, Ermita told Remonde, “I am pleased to transmit herewith your designation as Acting Executive Secretary for the duration of my official travel to Geneva, Switzerland on April 25 to May 1, 2009.”
The President’s designation of Remonde was coursed through Ermita’s office. - THE FREEMAN
