Municipal worker killed after motorcycle crash
CEBU, Philippines – An employee of the Municipality of Bantayan died after his motorcycle crashed in sitio Bias, barangay Sungko, Bantayan, early morning yesterday around 2:55 a.m.
No one saw exactly what happened to Felix Torefiel, 48, a resident of sitio Duljo, barangay Sulangan, but Jason Nepangue, Luo Batiancila and Efren Villanueva said they found him lying in the road unconscious with a head injury.
Near him lay the Honda Dream motorcycle with plate no. SG-4151 owned by the said municipality.
The three rushed him to the hospital but the attending physician said the victim die minutes later due to cardio respiratory arrest secondary to brain herminiation.
