CPPO implements revamp

CEBU, Philippines – Supt. Larson Dechino, chief of police in Danao City, will be leaving his post in relation to PNP rules in which a police officer is required to serve for two years in a particular place.

Dechino will be assigned to the Cebu Provincial Police Office for the Provincial Security Service Group, while Supt. Elmer Lim will be taking over his former post in Danao City. Lim is the former chief of operations at the CPPO.

Taking over his post is Supt. Romeo Perigo who is currently the deputy director for operations at the CPPO. Perigo was previously assigned as the chief of police in Talisay City but was later transferred to the CPPO following the controversy involving Joavan Fernandez, son of Talisay City Mayor Socrates Fernandez.

Other police officials affected by the revamp are Senior Insp. Timmar Alam, from CPPO operations to chief of police in Tuburan town; Senior Insp. Alexander Angcao from the Poro Police force to chief of police in Tabogon town; Senior Insp. Emeliano Igot from Danao City to the Poro Police Station in Camotes Island; Senior Insp. Wilfredo Giducos from Tabogon to operation in the CPPO; Insp. Ramon Villar from Tudela to Public Community Relations in CPPO; Insp. Wilfredo Tautoan from Carcar City to the Alcoy Police Station; Insp. Florendo Fajardo for PSSG to Tudela Police Station chief; Insp. Ciriaco Larobis from PSSG to Danao City; Chief Insp. Alexander Soledad from Talisay City to chief of police in Barili town taking the post of Insp. Isagani Abalo and Abalo taking his post too in Talisay City. — Christopher Gabriel C.
