CEBU, Philippines – Prosecutors have elevated to court two counts of robbery charges against the suspects in robbing A1 Financial Services last February 21, 2008.
Facing charges are Doroteo Imperial and Danilo Flores, alleged cohorts of Rey Torres, the most wanted person in Cebu.
Helsa Sarines, officer-in-charge of A1 Financial Services, had said they allowed the suspects and one unidentified other to enter their office that day because they appeared to be ordinary customers.
However, while asking how to send money through Western Union, the three allegedly pulled out their guns and announced a hold-up.
They then took collection money amounting to P25,000 and the cellphones of the employees.
The third suspect remains at large. — Jasmin R. Uy/JMO (THE FREEMAN)
