USJR grad is ninth in ECE board exam

CEBU, Philippines - A graduate of the University of San Jose Recoletos raised the schools’ flag in the national stage as he finished in the top ten of the recent Electronics and Communication Engineering Licensure examination.

Kevin Joseph Torres, a graduate of USJR in March 2008, landed in the 9th place of the exam held last month in the cities of Manila, Baguio and Cebu. Torres showed consistent high grades in USJR and graduated Cum Laude, according to a school official.

Not only has Torres given pride to his school, but Cebu as well as he was the only one who finished in the Top Ten from the province.

The chairman for the ECE department of USJR, Engr. Anthony Jagores, described Torres to be a diligent and consistent student.

Jagores shared that Torres always strived hard to have good grades and that he has always achieved his aspired grades.
