Council committee okays destruction of old waiting shed
Cebu - The committee on urban planning of the Cebu City Council has approved a request of a printing company to destroy an old waiting shed along Osmeña Boulevard.
The committee approved the request of Barba Press to destroy the old waiting shed located in front of the Bank of the Philippine Islands after the firm assured that it would replace the shed with a new one once, as it develops its property there.
The printing firm already presented to the committee an illustration of how the modern waiting shed would look like and the committee said the same is in tune with the city’s beautification program.
Committee chairman Gerardo Carillo, however, made it a point that the printing firm shall execute an undertaking that it will implement the renovation plan. — Ferliza C. Contratista/JMO (THE FREEMAN)
