Woman hacks live-in partner after quarrel

CEBU - A man was hacked by his live-in partner after a heated argument in sitio Maraat, barangay Matab-ang, Toledo City around 1:30 pm last January 4.

SPO2 Larry Pili said that the suspect, Rufina Lemorasan, and the victim, Armando Lastima, 31, were both drunk when they had argument.

The argument was followed by a fight that turned violent and the victim grabbed a bolo and hacked the victim in the right arm.

The victim was rushed to the Toledo City Hospital and later transferred to a hospital in Cebu City while the suspect immediately fled. Police are conducting further investigation into the incident.— Bentley Naire Luyong, CIT Masscom intern/BRP   (THE FREEMAN)
