Man charged for attempting to rape daughter

CEBU - A 13-year-old girl has filed charges against her father for sexually molesting her inside their house in sitio Igot, San Francisco town on Camotes Island last March.The victim said that her father tried to rape her while she was sleeping inside her room.

She however told the police that she is not certain what exact date the incident had happened.

The minor narrated to the police that her father entered her room, held her hand, embraced her and touched her private parts.

While touching her, the victim said that her father told her to hold his sex organ and masturbate it.

But she added that her younger brother woke up that stopped their father from continuing his evil intention.When her brother saw the incident, he immediately went to their mother and informed her about it.

The boy said he saw his father grabbed his sister’s arms and covered her mouth so she could not shout while he was doing the malicious act.

The children’s mother was allegedly not in the house at the time of the incident because she was working as a housemaid in a nearby house.
