Man charged for stabbing
CEBU - Frustrated murder charges were elevated to court against a man who stabbed his sister’s live-in partner.
The victim, Michael Gonzales, said Charlie Suello stabbed him at the back while he was washing the rice cooker last December 14.
He said he was lucky that he caught Suello’s hand when the latter attempted to stab him the second time. This gave him the chance to call for help.
Gonzales said he did not know why Suello stabbed him but he suspected that Suello might have been under the influence of rugby at that time. — Jasmin R. Uy/JMO (THE FREEMAN)
