Roderos' wish this Christmas season: Peace

CEBU - Peace in Cebu, in the Visayas region and the entire country.

Such is the wish of Police Regional Office-7 director Chief Superintendent Ronald Roderos who said that peace is very important during the Yuletide season.

The police official felt concerned over the terrorisms in Mindanao, particularly the recent bombing in Iligan and other places that are affected by turmoil.

In his speech during the closing of the Christmas party of the PRO 7 personnel at the Camp Sergio Osmeña Sr., yesterday, Roderos said that it is important to have peace for the public to have a meaningful celebration of the holiday season.

This Christmas season, he said that it is also important to love one another.

Aside from families, friends and neighbors, he emphasized “to love our enemies and the criminal suspects.” He likewise wished that there would be a decrease in number of criminals as he encouraged them to engage in jobs that are legitimate and decent instead of robbing or stealing from other people. — Bentley Naire Luyong, CIT MassCom Intern/WAB   (THE FREEMAN)
