German national loses tools to thief in Argao
Argao Police are conducting a follow-up operation over an incident of thievery that reportedly occurred inside a resort in barangay Guiwang last Saturday at around 8 a.m.
Regino Coronel and a certain “Edel”, both employees of Dive Point, informed Alcoy policemen of the said incident which victimized Frank Teschen, a German national, of legal age, and is a resident of the said town.
It was learned from SPO3 Primitivo Carunggay, officer in charge of the Alcoy Police Station, that Teschen attended a birthday party at the said place with his friends who are also foreign nationals.
But later on, Teschen discovered that the things he left inside his car were already missing.
The German national reportedly lost his tools such as his electrical drill and electrical jigsaw; and personal accessories like two pieces of branded sunglasses; and cash worth P10,000 which he said he left inside his parked car thinking that the area is safe.
Carunggay added that Teschen cannot put the blame on the guard of Dive Point as the victim allegedly failed to park his car in the designated parking area. — Christopher Gabriel Bonjoc/MEEV
