Wanted person falls to Talamban police
CEBU - Police arrested a man who was included on the city’s “Most Wanted” list around 9 a.m. the other day in sitio Tigbao, barangay Pulangbato.
Arrested was 24-year-old Randel Arana Miñoza of sitio Dita of the barangay.
Elements of the Talamban Police Station, led by Chief Sr. Insp. Fructuoso Lim, served to Miñoza the warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 13 Judge Meinrado Paredes for his alleged violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
Police officers penetrated the house of Minoza’s girlfriend where the suspect, described by police to be elusive, was sighted.
He was cornered and eventually arrested in a peaceful manner. No firearm was recovered from him.
The suspect’s offense is non-bailable, police said.
