51-year-old woman charged for adultery

CEBU - A woman is charged for adultery after she was caught in the act by her husband allegedly having sex with her lover at around 8 a.m. yesterday in barangay Sacsac, Consolacion town.

Tessie (not her real name), 51, was reportedly seen by her husband Marco (not his real name either), 58, having sexual intercourse with a certain Mar (not his real name too), 44, single, and a neighbor.

Marco, together with his daughter Anna (real name withheld), reported the matter personally to the Consolacion Police Station and asked for police assistance to have his wife and her lover arrested.

Immediately, PO3 Joerahmie Espinosa and PO1 Ryan Heyrosa together with Marco and Anna went to the house of a certain Boy Guaca to check on Mar, where he is working as a caretaker. But they found out that Mar had left the house earlier.

Upon arrival at the house of Mar, the authorities found out that Mar was there with Tessie still engaged in intimacy.

Insp. Leoncio Baliguat, in a phone interview, said that he remembered responding to an alarm few days prior to the incident involving the couple, Marco and Tessie.

The couple had a heated argument allegedly over the husband’s jealousy. But the anger later on subsided when Marco expressed of his love for his wife.

Marco said he had already sensed his wife’s illicit affair with Mar and even admitted that he had already caught them did the same thing prior to the recent incident.

Tessie and Mar were arrested and temporarily locked up at the Consolacion detention cell.
