New route for 04L PUJs

Starting today, the 04L jeepneys will no longer pass Ayala Center.

The City Traffic Operations Management and the Traffic Group of the Cebu City Police Office yesterday announced that 04L PUJs plying Lahug to Ayala to SM City in North Reclamation Area would follow a new travel route as part of the rerouting plan of the city.

This after the CITOM board, during its regular meeting last Wednesday the 30-day experimental rerouting of the 04L jeepneys by only allowing them to ply the route of Lahug to SM City and vice versa.

With this, from Lahug (JY Square), they would now pass Wilson St. then turn right to Pasteur St. and right turn to Edison St. then left turn to Salinas Drive.

From there, the trip will continue to Juan Luna Ave. then left turn to Sergio Osmeña Blvd. then turn left to Kaoshiung St. then left turn to Andres Soriano Ave. and right turn back to Juan Luna Ave. and proceed to Salinas drive.

CITOM advised motorists and drivers to follow the traffic signs that would be installed on the streets to guide them.
