A man was shot dead in sitio Urbohan, barangay Bonbon, Aloguinsan town the other day.
The victim was identified only as a certain “Danny,” reportedly a resident of Liloan town.
Initial investigation revealed that last Saturday, at around 5 a.m., an unidentified man shot the victim who was working as a crew of a disco sound system company.
The victim sustained gunshot wounds in the back and in the wrist.
Witnesses said the assailant was wearing camouflage pants and a ball cap. None of them were able to identify him.
Investigation further disclosed that around 3:30 a.m. of the same day, another member of the crew was reportedly shot by the same unidentified person.
Meanwhile, another man was shot in barangay Molaray, Dalaguete town last Saturday around 4 a.m.
Police identified the victim as Maximo de Luna, a resident of barangay Salug, while the suspect was allegedly his neighbor, Rodel Rivera.
SPO1 Leo Amores of the Dalaguete police said it was fiesta time in the barangay and the victim was sitting on a plastic chair watching the disco when the suspect came up from behind and shot him with a shotgun.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where he is now in critical condition while the suspect immediately fled the scene still holding the shotgun.
