Traffic rerouting at Capitol Site

There will be a rerouting of vehicles passing through a stretch of Osmeña Blvd. today for the celebration of the National Flag Day to be held at the Rizal Memorial Library.

But the Traffic Group of the Cebu City Police Office and the City Traffic Office Management said only the right lane for vehicles from the Capitol Site will be affected.

Passenger vehicles from the Capitol Site taking the Osmeña Blvd.will have to turn right to Jasmine St. and proceed to Don Gil Garcia St. and then turn left to J. Llorente then right to Osmeña Blvd. towards Fuente Osmeña.

For private vehicles coming from Capitol and uptown area going to Fuente Osmeña through Osmeña Blvd., they must turn right to Jasmine St. or take left towards N. Rafols St.

The rerouting will take effect from 6 a.m. until the program and activities are finished.

There will be a flag raising ceremony to kick off the activities for the day.

The OIC of the Cultural and Historical Affairs Commission (CHAC) Florentino Boligor said government and non-government sector are expected to join the celebration.
