Police car, multicab collide
A patrol car responding to an alarm hit a multicab at the Fuente Osmeña Rotunda early morning yesterday.
SPO2 Apollo Matchacon said patrol car 007, a Toyota Innova with plate number SHN-889, was driven by PO3 Jaime Aparre at the time.

Because of the impact of the collision, Biaño lost control of his vehicle and it swerved, finally resting on its left side facing the direction of oncoming traffic.
The police car was also damaged but both drivers escaped serious injury.
This was the second time an Innova police car had an accident in the Fuente Rotunda. The first mishap happened last November when another Innova collided with a Volkswagen, resulting to the injury of the couple inside the private vehicle.
Franz Villalonga, together with his wife Vanessa, were driving along Fuente Osmeña Rotunda in their 1967 Volkswagen Beetle when a speeding Toyota Innova patrol car 001, driven by PO1 Norman Patindol, hit their car.
