Soldier’s motorcycle bumps police car

-

A motorcycle driven by a member of the Philippine Army accidentally bumped the patrol car of Danao City police along the National Road in barangay Maslog, Danao City.
The Honda motorcycle driven by Ronald Ancao Pepito, a resident of barangay Bonbon in Bogo City, hit the right side of the Toyota Altis patrol car of the Danao City police about 3:00 p.m. last Friday.

The impact of the accident was severe that Pepito and his backrider Arthur Verallo suffered multiple injuries. They were rushed to Danao City General Hospital but were later declared out of danger and were allowed to go home.

PO1 Frederick Gomez, the driver of the patrol car, and his two passengers, SPO3 Quirino Vasquez and SPO1 Maximiano Banilad, suffered no injuries. But the right body and front side door including the windows, mirror and windshield of their vehicle were damaged.

The Danao City police are set to file a criminal complaint against Pepito at the Danao City Prosecutor’s Office tomorrow. – Garry B. Lao/LPM
