An 11-hour power interruption is expected to hit the entire Villa Leyson and Deca Homes Subdivisions in Bacayan, Cebu City tomorrow from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
According to the Visayan Electric Company, Inc., this is needed in order for them to facilitate the enhancement of their mainline through pre-uprating projects.
On Saturday, another 11-hour power interruption will hit a portion of barangays Bacayan and Pit-os from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The entire Metropolis, Joseville and Greenfields Subdivisions in barangay Bacayan and the CIS Compound in barangay Pit-os will also be affected as VECO facilitates the enhancement of mainline through pre-uprating projects.
VECO apologizes for any inconvenience the temporary loss of power on these days might cause to their customers adding that their engineers will exert all effort to restore electric service as scheduled. – Mitchelle L. Palaubsanon/MEEV
