According to the Visayan Electric Company, Inc., areas that will be affected include a part of Miñoza Street, Hi-way 11 and 77; the entire Silverhills Subdivision, Cedaville Residences, entire Hidden Valley Subdivision, entire Mountain View Subdivision, Luna Belle Residences, IPI Housing, Sugarland Drive, SOS Village; Innove Communications Co., Petron Gas Station, Southern Island Training Center and English Fella Educ. Corp.
VECO said that the power interruption is needed in order for them to facilitate the enhancement of main lines by replacing rotten poles and changing of primary lines and pole attachments.
VECO added that this interruption is needed to "improve their facilities in the areas mentioned and to further augment their services to their customers."
VECO apologizes for any inconvenience the temporary loss of power might cause to their customers. Their engineers will exert all effort to restore electric service as scheduled. - Mitchelle L. Palaubsanon
