Capitol to conduct bidding for annual equipment rental

The bidding will involve at least 29 units of heavy equipment needed for Capitol’s various infrastructure projects.
Bidders, according to BAC chairman Roy Salubre, must have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last two years, and must have key personnel and equipment available for the implementation of the projects.
The needed equipment include a bulldozer powershift with angling blade and ripper, a bulldozer powershift with straight and tilting blade and ripper, wheel payloader (articulated), road grader, dump trucks, vibratory compactor, backhoe, concrete mixer, transit mixer, boom truck, air compressor, genset, welding machine, service vehicle, truck tractor, low bed trailer, crane, forklift and asphalt kettle.
Salubre said the contract duration is one year and that the issuance of bid documents will end on January 28.
On January 29, the bids documents will be opened and on January 31, the bids will be evaluated. Post qualification will be conducted on February 5 and the notice of award will be held on February 12. — Mithchelle L. Palaubsanon/LPM
