Brownout to hit brgys. San Jose and Bacayan

A nine-hour power interruption is expected to hit some parts of barangays San Jose and Bacayan, Cebu City, tomorrow from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Visayan Electric Company Inc. stated that this power interruption has to be made so they can replace 22 wooden poles with concrete ones and upgrade the primary lines.                                           

Areas that will be affected in the said barangays include San Jose St., including Puroks 1 to 5, the back of Maryville  Subdivision, St. Ville Subdivision, Kahayahay Subdivisions 1 and 2, sitios Bulho and Tigbao, Ma. Montessori School, Franciscan Friars of  The Immaculate, Hospitaller Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Barangay San Jose Primary School and the M. Lhuillier rest house.

VECO said that these interruptions are needed to improve their   facilities and services to customers in the area.  — Mitchelle L. Palaubsanon/BRP
