San Remigio gets vehicles, classrooms from Capitol

-

San Remigio, a known political bailiwick of the opposition, became the beneficiary of vehicles and classrooms that the Capitol had given recently, with the promise of some more good tidings from the administration.

Governor Gwendolyn Garcia led the provincial government in the turnover of a fire truck, an ambulance, a mini-dumptruck, and classrooms to the municipal government.

Garcia, together with the some provincial, also inaugurated two road stretches in the town, and the Parents-Teachers-Community Association building, which the school administration had planned to use venue for teachers’ meetings, and classes for subject teachers.

Town officials responded by describing the bounty from the administration as the  “best Christmas gifts for San Remigio.”

Garcia sealed the new relationship between her administration and San Remigio by vowing to add four more classrooms and financial assistance for the completion of a building of the San Remigio Central School.

The four promised classrooms, which San Remigio officials now called as the GWEN rooms, will be used for the first, second, and third year students of the Special Science curriculum, under the aegis of the Department of Science and Technology. — Mitchelle L. Palaubsanon/RAE
