PB wants Roderos for PRO-7 chief
The Cebu Provincial Board yesterday endorsed Police Chief Supt. Ronald Roderos, the current deputy director for administration of the Police Regional Office-7, to succeed outgoing police regional director Silverio Alarcio, Jr.
A proposed resolution authored by PB members Wilfredo Caminero and Peter John Calderon read that Roderos has “served the police organization with dedication and distinction.”
“He has demonstrated his capabilities serving as deputy director at the PRO-7. It would be fair that Police Chief Supt. Ronald Roderos be appointed as police regional director considering his length of service,” the resolution further read.
The Board unanimously approved the proposed resolution filed by Caminero and Calderon, saying “Roderos’ capacity as deputy director for administration will allow him to carry on and sustain the plans and programs initiated by Alarcio.”
Earlier, Cebu Governor Gwendolyn Garcia expressed she is in favor of Roderos to assume Alarcio’s duties and responsibilities.
