BI declares 4 Japanese in sex film ‘undesirable’

-

The Bureau of Immigration has declared the four Japanese tourists caught filming a sex scene in an islet of Olango Island as undesirable aliens and placed them under their watchlist to prevent them from leaving the country pending the resolution of their case.

Immigration regional director Geronimo Rosas said that Miyawaki Yuki, 26; Yokomizo Masashi, 36; Izuno Hiwaki, 24 and Takimoto Yuichiro, 40; are already in the BI watchlist.

“They cannot leave the country until the case is resolved,” Rosas said over radio dyLA.

According to Rosas, the four entered the country as legitimate tourists almost two weeks ago and were supposed to stay in the country for only 21 days.  However, because of their arrest, their stay will be extended until the decision of the court on their case.

The four were charged with violation of the Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code or indecent and lewd show before the Lapu-Lapu City Court.  The four however were able to post P24,000 bail for their temporary liberty.

Rosas said that the four Japanese committed a violation of their stay in the country because they are here as tourists and are not supposed to do business.  The four are believed to be using the sex film that they shoot here for commercial purposes.

Meanwhile, Cebu Provincial Police Office director Carmelo Valmoria commended Lapu-Lapu City Police chief Louie Oppus and his men for a job well done.

Valmoria said he will be sending a letter of commendation also to Insp. Junnel Caadlawon who was responsible for the arrest.

Valmoria also said he will direct the team of Caadlawon to submit an after operation report of the incident so that this can be forwarded to the Police Regional Office-7. — Fred P. Languido and Flor Z. Perolina/BRP
